Roz Evans

Roz Evans is the Participation and Development Manager at Pathways, and began working with the organisation in June 2011. She has been working with young people for over ten years and with young refugees since 2003. Roz is co-founder and chair of trustees of Refugee Youth Project, a small charity which supports young refugees in the UK and overseas. From 2004-9, she completed five years of postgraduate study at the University of Oxford achieving an MSc in Forced Migration and a doctorate in international development studies. Her research focused on the impact of children’s participation programmes in long-term camps in Nepal and involved her supporting young refugees to conduct their own research into issues affecting children in their communities. Most recently, Roz has been facilitating projects with young refugees in the UK. She has also worked with refugees as a legal adviser in Egypt, and as an English teacher and project worker with young refugees in Lebanon.
