David ButterworthDave is a key worker at Pathways, Croydon. He joined in October 2011 having moved from Leicester, where he worked as a Support Worker for homeless 16-18yr olds from a variety of backgrounds. Dave worked closely with other projects within the community and was involved in community football groups, including organising a tournament with each team made up of a mixture of young offenders and police officers. Before working with homelessness Dave was a department manager for a large insurance provider for a number of years, and upon being made redundant, decided to volunteer as a youth advocate with the Youth Offending Service. Dave is a keen snowboarder, Fulham F.C. fan, Leicester Tigers fan, F1 fan and loves travelling (south east Asia in particular). Dave has also been a live music promoter in Leicester for some years and had the privilege of working with some of his favourite bands, has been stage manager at a couple of major UK rock festivals, and tour manager for 2 bands.
