Services

Pathways to Independence provides advice and support for young people who have experienced disadvantage and isolation. Over almost a decade we have developed a replicable and cost-effective model of good practice to empower young people to realise their goals, fulfil their potential and choose their pathway to independence.

Our Independent Living Skills programme is an intrinsic part of our support and is unique to Pathways to Independence.

We provide outreach support and supported accommodation depending on what best suits a young person’s needs. Young people at Pathways are assessed and supported in accordance with the five Every Child Matters outcomes.

Key services include:

  • Specialised Independent Living Skills programme.
  • Dedicated female only accommodation.
  • Supported accommodation service for 16-18 years.
  • Accommodation and drop-in service for 18+ years.
  • Outreach support services.
  • Services for asylum seeking young people, including preparation for return and triple-track planning.
  • Services for a wide range of service users. We are experienced in working with young families, children in need, looked after children and homeless young people. We are used to working with young people to address multiple needs.
